1.3 Beta 2
Beta 2 release
Update
Easier Device SN retrieval
With just two lines of code, performing a search on a user to retrieve their device info will now populate the Device SN field to remove restrictions.
Version 1.2 Beta 1
- Now includes a way to pull back assigned device info based on a username. Basics for now include the Device Serial Number, Device Name, MAC Address, IP Address and Last Inventory Time. The network information can be used to help determine the physical location of a device prior to using Find my iPad. Using the IP or MAC address you may be able to locate the Access Point a device is connected to. (Thank you for the feature idea @tdonovan)
Version 1.1 Beta 1
Beta 1 of version 1.1
Updates include:
- If the connection is invalid, display a button to open in default browser. This should alert you if the certificate on your JSS is not in the trusted keychain.
- If you include a trailing slash in the JSS URL field it will automatically be removed. This will allow code to not throw an error.
- Delete device from JRRT App. After you remove Restrictions from a device, you have the option to delete the device. If a device is deleted prior to restrictions being removed, the device will need to be reset to remove them as the connection to the JSS is no longer valid.
