Robot Framework 7.0 is a new major release with enhanced listener interface
(#3296), native VAR syntax for creating variables (#3761), support for mixing embedded and normal arguments with library keywords (#4710) and various other enhancements and bug fixes. Robot Framework 7.0 requires Python 3.8 or newer (#4294).

Robot Framework 7.0 beta 1 was released on Friday December 15, 2023. It is targeted for anyone interested to see how they can use the interesting new features and how backwards incompatible changes and deprecations possibly affect their tests, tasks, tools and libraries.
