It's a spin-off of another project of mine called cuteRenamer. Install: The requirements are Python. In the directory where your tarball is extracted type "python setup.py install" with root-rights. Usage: simplerenamer [options] directory Options: -h, --help show this help message and exit --pre=PREFIX set prefix that will be placed to the left of the number --post=POSTFIX set postfix that will be placed to the right of the number -c, --conserve Conserve file extension -s START, --start=START set startnumber -l LIST, --list=LIST use a list of files instead of all files in the directory -i, --interactive choose which files should be renamed interactive Copyright (C) 2010-2011 Karsten-Kai König <KKoenig@posteo.de> This program is free software; you can use it under the terms of the MIT-License.
