This extension is a workaround for a bug where maximized windows may cover the Dash-To-Dock panel after unlocking the screen. See here for details about the bug.
This extension is available for installation on the GNOME Shell Extensions website.
To install manually follow the steps below:

download the latest version of the extension from the releases page

run the following command:
$ gnome-extensions install dash-to-dock-workaround@popov895.ukr.net.zip -
restart your session (logout and login)

run the following command:
$ gnome-extensions enable dash-to-dock-workaround@popov895.ukr.net
