What is Phileas?

Phileas is a Java framework for identifying and redacting sensitive information in text. With Phileas, you can integrate its ability to idnetify and redact over 30 types, in addition to user-defined types, of sensitive information in your applications.

Phileas is the core of the Philter software. Philter is a turn-key application to redact sensitive information. Philter provides a REST-like API on top of Phileas along with custom-trained NLP models. Philter can be launched via the AWS Marketplace.
