Here is a fully functional and user friendly android app which I made from scratch for Android Developer Nanodegree program.

This app helps users to discover various categorised Movies and TV Shows. It reveals the power of adaptive UI both for phone and tablet devices.It includes various new Lollipop+ features.

The app was highly evaluated by certified Udacity code reviewer and was graded as "Exceeds Specifications".

For a particular Movie you can

• See its overview, rating, popularity, crew and cast info, genre, status, release date, original language, runtime, homepage, budget and revenue.
• Watch various official teasers, trailers and other promo launched videos.
• Read other user's review.
• Get suggested similar movies.
• Save favorite movies locally to view them even when offline.
• Sharing movie details with your friends.

For a particular TV Show you can

• See its overview, rating, popularity, crew and cast info, genre, status, original language, runtimes, first air date, last air date, network.
• Get details of every seasons and episodes of it.
• Watch various official teasers, trailers and other promo launched videos.
• Get suggested similar tv shows.
• Save favorite tv shows locally to view them even when offline.
• Sharing tv show details with your friends.

Development Setup

This app uses The Movie Database API to retrieve movies. You must provide your own API key in order to build the app. When you get it, just paste it to: app/build.gradle
