How to Add Printer from WH308 on Linux and Mac

For Mac, first perform the following steps before performing the steps for Linux below:

• Install CUPS via Homebrew: https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/cups#default
• Run cupsctl WebInterface=yes to enable the web interface (this is necessary in order to access the "CUPS for Administrators" page in the instructions below).

For Linux:

1. Go to localhost:631.
2. Click on "Adding Printers and Classes" link under "CUPS for Administrators" column. Enter your local computer's username and password when prompted.
3. Press on "Add Printer" button.
4. Select "Internet Printing Protocol (https)"
5. Enter "https://print.ccs.neu.edu:631/printers/gaugin" into "Connection" field and press "Continue" button.
6. Enter name and other info and press "Continue".
7. Select "HP" in the "Make" list and press "Continue".
8. Select "HP LaserJet M607 M608 M609 Postscript (recommended) (en)" and press "Add Printer". (For Mac, this option may not be available; just select "HP LaserJet" if so. For Linux, if this option is not available use the PPD file available here.)
9. Set options (for example, Collate: On, Two-Sided: Long-Edge Binding) and press "Set Default Options".
