Need Help: Creating Artificial Dataset

Hi there! I'm in desperate need of your help.

I'm conducting an experiment where I aim to artificially aggregate appliance data from the REDD dataset. To achieve this, I want to create a new building or an entirely new dataset that includes only a select few appliances and a mains meter. The mains meter should receive the sum of energies from each appliance present.

I'm currently facing difficulties in creating the mains on the MeterGroup. Has anyone attempted something similar, and is it possible to accomplish this in NILMTK? Should I create a new building in REDD or create a new dataset?
