I was able to start an initial data exploration in Jupyter Notebook using UK-DALE data set following this guide: https://github.com/kehkok/nilmtk-ukdale [2]
However, I would like know to start practicing (and understanding) using a step-by-step guide some disaggregation algorithms inside of the NILMTK. My question is as follows:
Do I need to install anything else? Or everything that is initially required is installed in [1]?
If you have a better advice, or open to have a quick chart I would really appreciate your support. I'm trying to learn as part of my degree project in energy engineering so coding would not be part of my key strengths.
The installed version is:
print (nilmtk.version): 0.4.0.dev1+git.303d45b
And I'm using a Windows Galaxy Notebook.
Appreciate your support!
Thanks, Carlos

thanks @Raphael164. Do you know if I can run this nilmtk & nilm-contrib environments in Google Colab? I have tried running the following commands: !pip install git+https://github.com/nilmtk/nilmtk.git but it is returning errors.

Did you manage to run NILMTK (and NILMTK-Contrib) in Google Collab?
Hello!
I am new to the coding and the NILMTK. I did install the NILMTK following the Anaconda prompt steps provided in: https://github.com/nilmtk/nilmtk/blob/master/docs/manual/user_guide/install_user.md [1]

I would like to try to reproduce the experiments detailed in https://github.com/nilmtk/buildsys2019-paper-notebooks [5] as part of my learning process.
