The GNAF Locator for ArcGIS Pro & Enterprise is a native ArcGIS locator that converts addresses to map locations via geocoding. It can be used to interactively search for, and zoom to, addresses on a map or to batch geocode an entire table of addresses with latitude and longitude coordinates. The GNAF Locator provides unlimited geocoding of addresses at no extra charge, as compared to the ArcGIS World Geocoding Service which charges 40 credits per 1000 addresses.

This Open Edition of the GNAF Locator is provided as a community service. Licensed editions of the GNAF Locator, based on the latest available GNAF dataset, are available from Mosaic Geospatial. They include free quarterly updates and technical support. See the Mosaic Geospatial website for more information.

The EULA terms are based on the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). However, an important restriction relating to the use of the open G-NAF for the sending of mail has been added. The open G-NAF data must not be used for the generation of an address or the compilation of an address for the sending of mail unless the user has verified that each address to be used for the sending of mail is capable of receiving mail by reference to a secondary source of information.
