Build and installation recipes for a collection of open-source software commonly used in VFX.

Much of the procedures are originally referenced from build_scripts/build_usd.py which is shipped with USD. Thanks!

Usage

The installation scripts are intended to be run from the root of the locally cloned repository.

These scripts have only been tested on Linux. Source code will be downloaded to /tmp to be built.

Requirements

Base requirements:

• curl

Extra per-software requirements may need to be installed, for example:

• CMake >=-3.10 (for CMake-based projects)
• jinja2 (for USD)
• doxygen and graphviz for building documentation.
