Protocol Buffers for the Discourse forum API. This is a work in progress largly compiled from the Discourse API Documentation and reverse engineering a live instance and should not be concidered production ready, please feel free to submit pull requests.
to build the protocol buffers protoc a protobuf compiler needs to be installed. The latest releases can be found here.
Run the following commands:
curl -OL https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf/releases/download/v3.19.1/protoc-3.19.1-linux-x86_64.zip
sudo unzip -o protoc-3.19.1-linux-x86_64.zip -d /usr/local bin/protoc
sudo unzip -o protoc-3.19.1-linux-x86_64.zip -d /usr/local 'include/*'and to build the latest proto files run:
