Snapup for iPhone allows you to upload photos to Meetup.com. The application uses the Meetup API and authenticates the user through OAuth.
It was inspired by Snapup for Android, which is available at: http://github.com/meetup/snapup/
You may download app from the iTunes App Store here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/snapup-from-meetup/id365018577
You will need the latest XCode (3.1+) to play around with Snapup.
Check out the latest three20 library from GitHub and create a symbolic link from snapup/Frameworks/three20 to the three20. Typically, this is done like so:
1. git clone git://github.com/facebook/three20.git
2. ln -s three20 snapup/Frameworks/three20
In order for this code to communicate with the Meetup API, you will need to request a consumer key/secret from us. More details can be found here: http://www.meetup.com/meetup_api/docs/#oauth
Feel free to use any of this code to implement your own Meetup iPhone app! Comments, suggestions and bug reports are welcome.
Snapup was created using the following frameworks.
MPOAuthConnection by Karl Adam (with modifications to allow photo upload), to communicate with the Meetup API using OAuth: http://code.google.com/p/mpoauthconnection/
JSON by Stig Brautaset, to parse JSON returned by the Meetup API: http://code.google.com/p/json-framework/
Three20 by Facebook, to simplify caching of images on the events listing view: http://github.com/facebook/three20/
