Sure Bets for Soccer Matches

Calculate the Sure Bets for the upcoming soccer matches by scraping a website that show all the odds from different betting houses.

It's a very short JAVA program that does the work by:

• Reading data from a website
• Parsing the data to extract relevant information
• Calculate the list of soccer matches with Sure Bets from the extracted information

WARNING! Be careful executing this program, it's scraping a website and programming repeated executions could affect the target website performance.

Technology

It's a JAVA 8 project using maven and the following library for HTML parsing: jsoup.

About jsoup in their website jsoup.org:

jsoup is a Java library for working with real-world HTML. It provides a very convenient API for extracting and manipulating data, using the best of DOM, CSS, and jquery-like methods.

Running

Just run the JAVA code and you will get the results in the system output.

You will first see that some processing is going on to extract the data for the next 11 days. The day and the number of soccer matches being processed is displayed.
