Status
I am creating this PR to share with @rbavery work that I did in 2019 on object detection and facial recognition. Please note, I don't suggest integrating this code into the project. Parts of it are extremely slow, and I don't think we should move forward with face-api.js.
I might make a separate PR for the work that I did with Rekognition, which is included on this branch. However, I would like that to be reviewed separately.
For the reasons stated above, please don't review this PR.
