Remove any fortran element to simplify installation (highest priority ❗).

Nuclear data sampling

  • Stochastic sampling of ENDF-6 nuclear data via command-line interface for:

    • Cross sections (targeting a first pre-release)
    • Nubar (targeting a second pre-release)
    • Angular distributions (this can be broken in pre-release)
    • Energy distributions (this can be broken in pre-release)

    This process shall mimic what was already available.

  • Object-oriented implementation of the sampling pipeline via class sandy.Endf6

    • sandy.Endf6.get_perturbations
    • sandy.Endf6.apply_perturbations

This allows extra flexibility to users, such as:

  • storing perturbation coefficients (less storage space, reproducibility) that can be applied on-the-fly
  • modify the pipeline by, for instance, applying perturbations to Doppler-Broadened cross sections
