Welcome to my GitHub profile! I'm Rohan Kuntoji (he/him) 👨‍🎓

💫 About Me:

I'm a recent graduate with a Master's in Financial Data Science from UCD Michael Smurfit Business School. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SJCE Mysore, India.

Prior to my postgraduate studies, I gained over three years of experience, working on data science, machine learning and SaaS product development in fast-paced startups.

  • 📚 Working toward achieving the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) Charter; passed CAIA Level 1 exam
  • 👨🏻‍💻 Competed in the WorldQuant International Quant Championship 2023, ranking first in Ireland and top 7 finalists in Europe (stage 2 finals)
  • 🌱 I’m currently studying quantitative research methods and risk management concepts, focusing on leveraging ML & NLP capabilities for statistical modelling
  • 🤝 Passionate about time-series forecasting and portfolio optimisation problems. Always eager to collaborate with like-minded people
