Code relating to obtaining data from public API from Altmetric for article: Placebo responses in randomized clinical trials assessing cannabinoid, cannabis, and cannabis-based medicine for clinical pain

Requirement

• Python 3.6+
• Basic scientific packages included with e.g. Anaconda install (e.g. numpy, pandas)
• habanero. To install, pip install habanero

To run:

From terminal while within the same directory as these files

• python get_data.py
• python get_citations.py

Output

A table will be created called almetric_info.tsv

Change input data.

DOI's of articles are included in DOI_cannabis.csv
