REUSING THIS CODE

All code that we've written is licensed under the GPLv3 (see the file LICENSE for the full text). However we've also included some code and data from 3rd party sources who have their own licenses.

Third Party Code

d3js

This includes all the files in trademapper/js/d3/

These are licensed under the BSD License

require.js

This includes:

  • trademapper/js/require.js
  • trademapper/js/domReady.js
  • trademapper/js/text.js

These are licensed under both BSD and MIT License

QUnit

This includes all the files in tests/lib

These are licensed under the MIT license

Data

Geographical Data from Natural Earth

This includes the files mapdata/ne_110m_admin_0_countries.* and mapdata/ne_10m_admin_0_disputed_areas.*

These files are in the public domain

Country Centre Points

The file trademapper/js/countrycentre.js was derived from the google public data countries.csv

The data is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License.

Sample Trade CSV Files

We include some sample files for you to play with. These are all under trademapper/sample_data/

CITES

In trademapper/sample_data/cites/ we have some extracts of data from the CITES Trade Database.

CITES trade statistics are derived from the CITES Trade Database, UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre, Cambridge, UK.
