TREES_1.3_instructions.pdf
News:
A new genetics module: Omnigenic
Optional 'microsamples', save population statistics every generation.
'Verbose' as a command line option, not parameter
Diallelic genes are stored (if sampled) as bits instead of bytes, saving file size
Mutations in the ContinuousAlleles genetics module have now variance 1, not mean absolute value 1.
...plus a few minor bug fixes and tweaks for speed.
TREES v1.2
TREES v1.2, published Jan 27 2019, has one new feature and one bug-fix.
The feature is the new keep_old_checkpoints variable, which can be set to N (No) in order to save disk space and only save the latest checkpoint.
A bug in the DiscreteSpace dispersal code was found and fixed. In earlier versions, dispersing individuals were not moved to the new habitat patch, but their offspring were. This is now corrected.
Please find detailed instructions in the pdf above.
NOTE: The Matlab file F_ST.m was corrected 1 Oct 2019. Please download from main project page.
Second release, 20 Dec 2018
New features:
-
Checkpoints, which can be used to
i) Continue finished simulations
ii) Rerun simulations from a given point in time with higher sampling frequency
iii) Rerun simulations from a given point in time with an alternative ecological and / or mating model -
A number of updated or added fitness modules and transforms
