Plugin Shortcuts

From this point, we will use "Tune In" as the example plugin
These shortcuts only work if the plugins are installed, so none of these examples will work without first installing the "Tune In" plugin
Plugin Shortcuts (ex: .tunein) are made to simplify the use of plugins by being able to call plugin functionality from the "Use a URL" form (main menu -> red button).
Keep in mind, there are plugins that have categories, and others that do not. As there are plugins that do not have any feed or even search capabilities. These are limitations from the way the sites are made and in some cases cannot be fixed.
The availability of these documented features is dependent on the plugin's possibilities.
"Tune In" has the categories: "Local", "Music", "Sports", "News", "Talk"
.tunein
Will start the feed from the default category of "Tune In" (in this case "Local").
.tunein news
Will identify the search tag as a valid category, and will start the feed from the "News" category of "Tune In".
.tunein tananana
In this case we will receive a search feed for the keyword "tananana". It is identified as a search term for "Tune In" because it was not detected as a valid category.
.imdb
plays IMDB's trailer feed. (does not support search)
.yt [search-terms]
searches for [search-terms] on YouTube.
.scloud [search-terms]
searches Soundcloud for tracks/mixes.
.bestyt
feed from Best of YouTube, a website collecting all the best / most interesting videos on YouTube.
.nfb popular
feed for the most popular videos from NFB (National Film Board of Canada) [short films]
.cgi popular
feed for the most popular videos from CGMeetUp. [animated short films]
These are just some examples, there are many other amazing plugins.
