Has the issue with organization repos only receiving notifications on the default branch been resolved? If so, then yes this can be closed. If not, then this issue and PR is still relevant.

Year+ later, this is still an issue. I just added the github bot to a new channel and found that this command /github subscribe <name of organization> did nothing for me. I had to use /github subscribe <name of organization> issues pulls commits deployments releases reviews comments branches discussions commits:all to get all the notifications we're looking for.

Note: this has changed slightly from my original PR, I've updated my branch to reflect the latest subscriptions.
