Sorry I didn't tested following code, I have shallow idea how do you process imba.imba into imba.imba.js.
What I do here I dummy wrap your imba.imba code in a class.
This way it is possible to create custom bin/command which inherits bin/imba functionality. Then it's possible to intercept it test it or add custom functionality.
