About The Project

This project is a simple tool to convert video files to animated gifs. It is different from other similar projects because all the CPU intensive video editing work is done on the client-side using wasm; there is no server involved.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/iamtalwinder/gif-maker.git
  2. Install NPM packages
    cd gif-maker
  3. Install NPM packages
    npm install
  4. Run the development server
    npm run dev
