  1. I have read the Contribution Guidelines
  2. Project URL: www.pdfgear.com
  3. Why should this project be added:
PDFgear is a free AI-integrated PDF software with all the expected functions included, like view, edit, convert, OCR, annotate, etc. The combination of PDF functions and PDFgear Copilot in it makes it super easy to manipulate PDF functions and chat with PDFs.
  4. End all descriptions with a full stop/period
  5. Entry is ordered alphabetically
  6. Appropriate icon(s) added if applicable (OSS, freeware)

Hi there.
I'm Gordon and I just updated the README.md file with the rules provided. I added PDFgear to the Productivity list in the Applications catalog, and also added the mark of free after the brief introduction of PDFgear.

Hope PDFgear could be included in this list after the review. Really appreciate for making this list! Thanks!

Not sure about this. Will leave it up to @herrbischoff and @dkhamsing to decide.

It appears to be a cross-platform application. And to be honest, the moment I read "AI-powered" my brain shuts down.

The AI part is not its core, but a plus function. It is a free PDF editor at its core, and most functions are provided for totally free. No Ads, no subscriptions. I really like this and would recommend this.

Thanks. It's a free PDF editor so I think it fits the bill of awesome apps for macOS.
