MetaPathways v1.0

MetaPathways v1.0 reflects the recent publication in BMC Bioinformatics (July 2013), and improves usability by simplifying the installation process. This release also includes a number of small changes and file additions that fix some minor run-time hiccups that were recently brought to our attention. We also added a recent version of the Clusters of Orthologous Groups (COG) database. The sequences and annotations were distributed in separate files which was preventing effective use by some users.

We have done our best to limit code dependencies so that this release will run on as many systems as possible with minimal installation and setup; however, please flag any such issues in the github as we are actively monitoring such issues.

We hope that the software works well for everyone. Please enjoy exploring your environmental Pathway/Genome databases.
