Installation

Windows

Unzip MALTA_1.0_win32.zip. This will extract the executable and all the supporting libraries in the same folder. Run MALTA.exe

Mac

Unzip MALTA_1.0.macOS.zip. This will extract MALTA.app.

Linux

Download MALTA_1.0_linux_x64.AppImage to your desired folder. In the terminal execute chmod a+x MALTA_1.0_linux_x64.AppImage to attach executable permissions. Then run ./MALTA_1.0_linux_x64.AppImage to launch the program.

Features

Calculates the number of picks required such that each gene in a gene library is picked atleast once.
Calculates the picks for a sliced population and subpopulation.
Multi threaded Monte Carlo simulation to calculate average counts of library population.
