Small Unity project trying out some 2D tilebased techniques pieced together from various ressources, blogs, documentation and videos.
Including
- setup of a few tile palettes
- two tilemap layers, one of which is used for collisions
- mouse-based select (left-click), drag-select (left-click hold and drag), and move (right-click) of several units - using the new Unity input system
Employs some of the excellent pixel-art available at OpenGameArt.org.
- Some character art from DawnLike - 16x16 Universal Rogue-like tileset v1.81 by DragonDePlatino, with extra credits to DawnBringer.
- Tiles from Outdoor tiles, again by Michele "Buch" Bucelli.
