  • P1 Replace samalba/dockerclient by docker/engine-api

  • P3 Re-assess scale

    • Scale test using gossip and networking
    • Find bottlenecks using profiling #1492

Ops Friendliness

  • P2 Gossip Discovery #1198
    • Write proposal including plan for networking and machine integration
    • Move to docker discovery pkg #1601 (and backport fixes docker/docker#19167)
    • Use engine for discovery (same K/V path)
    • Implement gossip discovery
    • Docs - change default discovery to gossip, deprecate token and swarm join
