Fooder - CBIR Food retrieval implementation in python

Prerequisite

Note: You can also use pycharm community to test the program easily

• Python 3.7.7 (or above)
• pip3 - pip 20.0.2 version or above or equivalent

before launching the app

• verify the data set contains the categories: donuts, macarons, pancake, pizza, sushi (each category has 10 jpeg images). The name of the data set folder is 'dataset'
• install this packages using pip3:

pip3 install matplotlib
pip3 install sklearn
pip3 install scikit-image
pip3 install openpyxl

Running the application from terminal

python3 main.py

generate the excel file

python3 excel.py
