This is a really simple app that I built to switch channels automatically for me for the Coachella stream.

The code is hideous as fuck because I didn’t realize until 2 hours before the livestream started that it was on 3 channels, and that I’d need to be switching between them constantly to see everything I wanted to see.

It certainly doesn’t need Rails, but that let me avoid fucking around with all the preprocessing involved with React, Sass, etc. Backbone is also totally unnecessary, but I wasn’t sure initially if I was going to store the lineup data in a backend or not, so I started with Backbone and then just left it there when I ended up hardcoding everything.

Hopefully someone can still derive some value from this mess!
