gitio

A simple ruby gem to shorten github links using git.io

Installation

To install gitio, simply install the gem like so:

gem install gitio

Usage

The gem simply installs a new command line executable called gitio. You can use it to shorten github links and even specify a vanity name!

$ gitio shrink https://github.com/cocoahero/gitio --name gitio-gem
