This course deals with information security and assurance and the concepts necessary to secure the cyberspace. It introduces security models, assurance policies, security policies and procedures, and technology. It helps to understand the need for information assurance, identify security vulnerabilities, and devise security solutions that meaningfully raise the level of confidence in computer systems. It creates awarness on how to design secured database and computer systems.
