Allow customizing labels copied from ingresses to certificates #6576
base: master
Are you sure you want to change the base?
Conversation
This should probably still be discussed with the maintainers, but this works for now. Signed-off-by: Kai Wohlfahrt <kai@charmtx.com>
This works the same way as for annotations now, allowing '*' and -foo label matching. It required some changes to the `BuildAnnotationsToCopy` function, mostly renaming. Signed-off-by: Kai Wohlfahrt <kai@charmtx.com>

Pull Request Motivation
Fixes #6473, by allowing the user to specify which labels should be propagated from ingresses to created certificates. By default, ignore the
applyset.kubernetes.io/*
labels that prompted the original issue (as discussed in the standup).I'm not sure if the testing I've added is sufficient - please let me know what tests you'd like to see.
