Lucafy is an open-source, web based, MERN stack, bookkeeping application that uses double entry accounting. It lets you create journal entries, ledgers and view trial balance and other statements.

Getting Started

Setup

• Clone repository
• Create .env file (use the .envexample for reference) and add your credentials.
• Install Dependencies: Run npm i in the main folder for backend dependencies and run the same command inside frontend folder for frontend dependencies
• Run npm run dev in the main folder
