Warning: I am not the author of Protocol Informatics (PI) Project.

  • Due to the research purpose, I keep the each version code here. According to the GNU General Public License, version 3, the programming code of PI project here can be used for non-commercial and research purpose.

This version is the old code in 2004.

  • The author, Marshall A. Beddoe, is the designer of PI project and the researcher of the paper entitled Network Protocol Analysis using Bioinformatics Algorithms.

  • At that time, this old code was written by Python. In this Version 0.01, the data or program structure has used the out-dated python library function, such as Numerical, which has been abandoned in the future library of Numpy. So, we may get errors when running this version code.

  • Why to upload this version code? Because if you can configure the old library of Numerical correctly or revise this program, the function of PI project or sequence alignment algorithm can still be successfully completed.
