I was informed about 4scraper, the predecessor to the current 4walled and http://nik.bot.nu by an anon on /qa/. Apparently it was a website that provided a taggable wallpaper archive for 4chan's /w/, /hr/, and /wg/, as well as 7chan's /hr/ board.

When 4scraper shut down, it released a 500MB SQL database dump, the very ugly source code, and a torrent containing 200GBs of wallpaper image data.

While the torrent is now dead, comments there state that the data has probably been imported by http://nik.bot.nu. I'm not sure about that though, so investigate where possible. And we probably should ask nik.not.nu about making a backup of their site.

I've uploaded the 500MB SQL Database dump and the source code to the Internet Archive.

Fun Fact: Eksopl states that in Oct. 2008, Taro, the creator of 4scraper, also helped him start what would become the Easymodo /a/ and /jp/ archive at http://archive.doesntexist.org.
