Hi 👋, I'm Aymen Mahmoudi

PhD student in C2N lab (University of Paris-Saclay)

  • 🔭 My research focuses on 2D materials, where I am investigating their optical and electronic properties

  • 👨‍💻 I try to build GUI apps to create tools used by the community of physicists that I hope will be useful or at least helpful for those who want to start developing new tools.

  • 🌱 I’m currently learning machine learning and deepening my skills in data science

  • 🤝 I’m looking to collaborate on any project combining physics and data science

  • 💬 Ask me about: The photoemission technique, spectroscopy techniques, Python, PyQT, git, HTML/CSS, IgorPro, and Matlab

  1. Raman-mapping-viewer Raman-mapping-viewer Public

The project treats a bug in Labspec software, and it offers an easy way to visualize and deal with Raman/PL mapping data generated from Horiba instrument under txt format

    Jupyter Notebook

  2. Seebeck-coefficient-calculator Seebeck-coefficient-calculator Public

Knowing the density, the temperature and the effective mass, the calculator allows a direct calculation of the Seebeck coefficient.

    Python

  3. SHG-data-fitting SHG-data-fitting Public

This project allows a quick manual fit of SHG or any polar data using a generalized trigonometric function. The fitting data can be easily exported after then.

    Python

  4. Moire-Parameter-Calculator Moire-Parameter-Calculator Public

Superposing two 2D materials can produce a Moiré superlattice structure. This app allows to visualize and calculate the lattice parameter of the produced Moiré.

    Jupyter Notebook

  5. Analyzer-Simulator Analyzer-Simulator Public

  6. Effective-mass-fitting Effective-mass-fitting Public

This PyQt app allows loading an image of a band structure and add a parabolic fit to calculate the effective mass

    Python
