  • replace format strings with f-strings
  • remove unnecessary f-string prefixes and semi-colons
  • remove inheritance from (object) as no longer needed in python 3
  • remove super(X, self) as default in python 3
  • fixed bare exceptions
  • cleaned trailing whitespace
  • cleaned trailing newlines
  • updated logger.warn (deprecated) to logger.warning
