@alexjlockwood It's been open since Oct 25, 2017...

Hey @touficbatache! I have actually been working on some stuff that would remove the demos entirely (well, they would still exist... just some place else). In the README there is a link to a slack channel where there is more discussion about it... but the TLDR is I'm hoping to eventually create something similar to https://www.lottiefiles.com/ (i.e. have shape shifter projects auto-saved to the cloud on a per-account basis... that would eliminate the need to have these separate demos hard coded into the tool).

Hey @alexjlockwood, thanks for the fast reply.

Ahh, I see. You're thinking about having an account for each user, and as he logs in, you'll create default projects, which are the demos. Right?

Yeah... something like that.

Or maybe I would create a separate account and store all of the demos there (and then link to the account's list of projects whenever I wanted to show someone some examples).

Although my long-term goal is that people create even cooler demos than I created... so then I could just link to their example projects instead. :)

It's still a work in progress, but TLDR I'm probably going to eventually remove the "demos" in their current state.

Yeah, I see what you want to achieve! This is what I suggest:

  1. Have a dashboard where the user sees his creations.
  2. When the account is created, the demos are added as creations in the user's dashboard.
  3. The demos would have a title and a creator, the creator would be the person who made them!

Yeah, that's along the lines of what I had in mind. :)

There is a slack channel called "#showcase" that you can join if you wanna follow the progress on that.
