This is an updated release of the Turing Change Point Benchmark, corresponding to v3 of the arXiv paper: https://arxiv.org/abs/2003.06222. The Turing Change Point Benchmark is a benchmark study of change point detection algorithms using real-world time series.

A high-level overview of the changes is as follows:

  • Expanded the grid search for some methods in the Oracle experiment
  • Changed from rank plots to critical-difference diagrams
  • Added additional analysis of annotator agreement
  • Various minor code changes and improvements

This is an update release of the Turing Change Point Benchmark, corresponding to v2 of the arXiv paper: https://arxiv.org/abs/2003.06222. The Turing Change Point Benchmark is a benchmark study of change point detection algorithms using real-world time series.

This update release makes the following changes:

  • Added the "zero" baseline method
  • Added a script to compute summary statistics
  • Added rank plots for multivariate datasets
  • Corrected an error in the computation of the F1 score and updated the results. This correction had no major effect on the conclusions of the paper.
