The codes for modeling species distribution have been placed in this repository. Two folders have been created - one containing the 6 scripts and another the associated data. The premise for each analysis has been explained at the beginning of each script. The repository now contains the R codes for following analysis:
- Downloading bioclimatic variables, processing occurrence and climate data, selection of variables (sdm1)
- Niche characterization (sdm2)
- Testing of model transferability (sdm3)
- Modelling distribution of an invasive species (sdm4)
- Modelling distribution of a true mangrove species (sdm5)
- Downloading occurrence data for a large number of species from GBIF (sdm6)
