Reporting issues

Issues are a very important for this script, as YouTube is often changing many things, which are breaking YouTubeCenter, without giving us time to react. This guide will help you post a good issue, that will help us in fixing it!

How-to guide

  1. Make sure that you're using the latest version of YouTube Center (it can be found here) and the latest version of your browser.
  2. Make sure that it's not a YouTube bug by disabling YouTube Center.
  3. Search your issue on Github before reporting it, duplicates will just get closed. If you find the same issue on Github and it's marked as fixed. You can try the developer version as the fix is presumable not released to the stable build yet.
  4. If there are multiple issues submit them separated on Github (only one issue per Github issue).
  5. Use the generated template provided by YouTube Center (can be found in Issue Template sub-tab).
  6. Your description of your issue should be coherent and has to be in English (languages other than English will be ignored). You can use pictures to further help describe your issue.
  7. Please, include the steps on how to reproduce this issue if possible.
  8. Include the debug log.
  9. Create an issue! (Here)
  10. Close it once it become fixed.
