We've reviewed the changes to the style of the button and have come to a conclusion that the single color of the background doesnt really match the theme of the website. However, if you would like to change it whereby the shaded border on the button hover matches the gradient of the button, we would reconsider merging.

TL;DR: we will keep this open, if you would like to change the button hover background shading to match the gradient of the button, we will reconsider a merge
