Wireframing Basics

To begin you will want to fork a copy of this repository and pull it down to your local machine.

A Quick Review

It may not seem important at first, but taking the time to review wireframing will allow you to make better design decisions on how things are related on the backend.

Take a moment to review Usability.gov’s Wireframing Article.

Put Your Knowledge to Practice

If you have not already, download the trial of Balsamiq

  1. Take some time to compare a few blogs on the internet. Then plan out a wireframe for your own personal blog.
  1. Think about the following; • Who is your audience? • What is the best way for you to present your content? • Will your design be responsive?
  2. Make a wireframe.
  3. Save an image of the wireframe in your local directory.
  4. Take a moment to blog below why wire framing is important to you. Put your own spin on your explanation.
  5. Commit your changes with a brief and meaningful message.
  6. Push up the changes to your forked version of the repository.
