These days, I'm developing 100% Open Source Software ... and I've started writing to try and pass on a little of what I've learned.
Right now I'm focused on building my own IT Consultancy Practice which specializes in the commercial application of cloud, container, and open-source technologies. Alongside this, I'm hoping to build a community of like-minded geeks who are interested in learning some of the stuff I managed to pick up over the past 25 years. JetBrains very generously provide me with a free license for their products every month, and you can get one too if you're working on a public, open-source project! I've used JetBrains' IDEs for many years now, and was more than happy to pay for a license every year back when I was working in the corporate sector. My first choice for IDEs! |
