I'm a 3rd year CS major at RPI who enjoys coding as a hobby and plans to pursue it as a career. I have worked primarily with Python and Flask but through my 1+ year of internship experience, I have picked up Java, SQL, and related libraries as well as experience with cloud resources on AWS.

• 🔬 LabConnect, a Rensselaer Center for Open Source project that I've been leading the Fall 2023 semester aimed at creating a website that connects undergraduate students to research positions on campus.
• 📝 Alpha Phi Omega, Epsilon Zeta Chapter Website, a brand new website built on Flask, Jinja, HTML, CSS, and JS. The website has information on our chapter but also manages our lost and found records, backtest records, and loaner tech availability.
• 🔨 JYL Toolbox, a site developed with a Flask backend to help connect student leaders together and to give adult leaders a simple one-stop website to post content, like upcoming meetings and events.

• 👤 Alpha Phi Omega, Active Brother. During my time in Alpha Phi Omega, I've done 950+ service hours and have led multiple small and large-scale events. As President, I work with all chapter officers to lead their respective programs and host successful events for all of our members. As a National Student Advisor, I work with students from every Region to advise the National President, Vice President, and Executive Director on the actions and direction of the national office.
• 👤 Food Recovery Network, President, helping donate excess food from on-campus dining to local food shelters.

• 👤 Distinguished Service Key, The Chapter Distinguished Service Key Award is a chapter’s highest level of distinction. The award is a black key that displays the Greek letters of the Fraternity in gold and is given in recognition to brothers for outstanding service to their chapter. Distinguished service on a chapter level; that is, making an outstanding and unique contribution to the chapter as a whole. Exemplifying and furthering in demonstrable ways the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Making a sustained contribution in a leadership role over a period of time.
• 👤 Phalanx Honor Society, In 1912, Edward Dion and the Student Council organized a society to recognize those Rensselaer students who have distinguished themselves among their peers in the areas of leadership, service, and devotion to the alma mater. This society, Phalanx, became the fellowship of those most active in student activities.
• 👤 Upsilon Pi Epsilon, Membership consists of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering. Members are chosen not only for their scholastic achievement in a computing field, but also for distinguishing themselves as true professionals by meeting the standards of the society. Members also provide a number of services to the Rensselaer community through tutoring services and remediation sessions.

• 💻 Amazon SDE Intern, Returned to Amazon in Summer 2023 on the Alexa Music team. I updated multimodal Alexa devices to include background images while playing music and shipped the feature to production.
• 💻 Amazon SDE Intern, I worked on the Alexa Prize Engineering team to build a metrics dashboard. I modified and created data pipelines to process data from multiple sources to present in an Amazon Managed Grafana dashboard.
• 🔅 Photon Commerce, Software Engineer Intern for 8 months at Photon Commerce a fintech startup working to automate finances and reduce errors that cost billions a year.
• ☁️ Hack the Cloud 2.0, Hack the Fog's online hackathon in response to the pandemic. (Co-Founder and Director). I'm also currently the Director of the Hack the Fog organization.
• 💻 Lowell Dev Club, a Hack Club at my highschool. (Co-Founder and Co-President)
• 👤 Japantown Youth Leaders, as a student leader I volunteer at events and create a service project every year resulting in over 100 volunteer hours every school year.
