Hi there 👋, I'm Jonathan Loscalzo and here is my resume

Software Engineer

📫 How to reach me:

PROFILE

Proactive, passionate about learning, able to work without supervision effectively, collaborating effectively with colleagues, as well as leading teams. My skill set covers various programming languages along with their popular frameworks and libraries. Additionally, I have experience in working and implementing distributed architectures that utilize message brokers as intermediaries.

I have a solid grasp of traditional Machine Learning algorithms and other Data stack technologies, having worked on projects using essential tools such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, Keras, PyTorch, Airflow.

Currently, I am researching MLOps, interested in learning Kubernetes and exploring frameworks related to LLMs. I am always open to acquiring new skills and tools, demonstrating a strong commitment to adaptability and growth. I’m seeking a position as Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer, interested in joining teams that tackle AI challenges or integrations.

EXPERIENCE

Heartbeat Heartbeat is a fully automated and reactive decision engine that uses a combination of machine learning and data-driven heuristics to determine the optimal way of interacting with each individual debtor. It tells us when we should contact them, how often, through which channel, with what content, and what specific types of offers we should provide. Stack: python, aws, datadog, looker, SQL, snowflake

Noq, Software Developer - (Apr 2023 - Sept 2023)

IAMbic

IAMbic is a multi-cloud identity and access management (IAM) control plane that centralizes and simplifies cloud access and permissions. It maintains an eventually consistent, human-readable, bi-directional representation of IAM in version control.

Stack: python, tornado, docker, git, AWS IAM & Organizations, Azure AD, Okta, GCP IAM.

Selehann, Software Developer - (Dec 2021 - Apr 2023)

My role was as an architect, leading a team and addressing the data-analytics/data-science problems that the platform needs, such as developing a ML model for inferring some indicators, solving complex formulas in real-time or near-real-time.
Stack: C#, MediatR, python, Azure ML, Docker, SignalR, React, RabbitMQ.

HAT - Hexacta Architecture Team (2019 - 2021)

Provide advice and solutions to the technical managers of Hexacta's projects in terms of architectural and design decisions, technologies and frameworks to be used, in order to improve product quality and productivity. My current areas were Machine Learning, Data and Backend. Additionally, I wrote posts on Hexacta Engineering Medium.

Cybersecurity Company - Internal Software (feb - apr 2021)

Working on an internal software that executes background jobs for security tools to find vulnerabilities.
Stack: Python, Django, DjangoRestFramework, PostgresDB, Docker, Celery.

Turner - Predictive Engine (mar 2019 - dic 2019)

The aim of "Predictive Scheduling Engine" was to optimize the channel broadcasting based on hard rules and predictive rules from a ML model. My role was leading a team of two developers.

Stack: Python, hypothesis testing, XGBoost, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Docker.
