Calling batched annotators causes mapPartitions to trigger the computation for the entire row, even when the requested columns in the row remain unchanged.
This could be avoided by reasoning about the query plan, and avoiding the map on each partition's row entirely. This examples shows a super oversimplified way of doing this.
