A python toolbox for ArcGIS designed for creation and analysis of Lines of Sight. The tool provides new functionality especially in analyzing of Line of Sight. The toolbox uses Python 2.7 as distributed with ArcGIS 10.3.

STATUS

The package is deprecated. The new iteration of the tool is available for QGIS as a plugin named LoS Tools.

Line-of-Sight-Analyst

A python toolbox for ArcGIS designed for creation and analysis of Lines of Sight. The tool provides new functionality especially in analyzing of Line of Sight. The toolbox uses Python 2.7 as distributed with ArcGIS 10.3.

Release and building the toolbox

The release version of the toolbox is produced using makefile (cygwin make) in order to make the it more easy for development. The make command requires Python 3.x with Yasha package (Yasha github). The makefile compiles and prepares all the necessary files into release folder as well as it prepares ziped file.
